About the Company Seeking an Accounting Assistant

• Involved in many partnerships in their industry, and have been recognized by the City of Boston itself
• Internal promotions for professional growth is common in their accounting department
• They are fully on site Monday through Friday

Responsibilities for the Accounting Assistant Include:

• Process incoming invoices, purchase orders, and bills of lading
• Data entry to support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other functions
• Assist with office tasks including physical/digital filing and processing emails/received mail
• Retrieve information from members of the team for reporting as requested

Background Expected of the Accounting Assistant:

• 2+ year(s) in an office environment with exposure to accounting functions
• Education will be considered in lieu of experience
