Our client is looking to hire a Bookkeeper in the West Houston area.  Below is a snapshot of the opportunity.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience with QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop and be able to handle all data entry in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. The candidate will be responsible for printing 20 checks and 20 invoices per week, performing daily reconciliation of previous day's sales, preparing month-end close-out reports, and reconciling payroll cards to send to the CPA for payroll Direct Deposit setup. The candidate will also be expected to answer phones and provide general assistance when required.

Responsibilities :

• Handle all data entry in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Print 20 checks and 20 invoices per week
• Perform daily reconciliation of previous day's sales

• Reconcile payroll cards to send to the CPA for payroll Direct Deposit setup
• Answer phones and provide general assistance when required

Requirements :

• At least 3 years of experience with QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop
• Ability to work from 8-5, Monday through Friday in the office
• Must live within a reasonable commute distance, like a 15-mile radius
• Must be a non-smoker
• Can be a notary if not already
