Position Overview:

As a Compliance Specialist, you will work cross functionally with the operations teams to process distributor orders in an ERP system while offering first class service as you support in complex navigation of distribution. This role will support in the alcohol brand state registrations and monthly reporting support, and plays a crucial role in ensuring clients’ beverage products meet all necessary legal requirements for sale and distribution.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provides solutions, recommendations, and product information with a sense of urgency, positivity, and empathy
• Receives and processes finished goods orders within ERP software, while ensuring accuracy of input data
• Organizes and coordinates finished good shipments to ensure on-time order fulfillment and cost efficiency, while ensuring integrity of compliance with alcohol regulations
• Coordinates receipt of proper documentation for shipments, receipts, and other transactions. Follow-upon issues and discrepancies with shipments.
• Upon order fulfillment, issues invoices for finished goods received
• Assists with compliance related items such as: reporting, license and brand renewals, Month end reporting, and label submissions
• Ensures consistent, reliable, and timely responses to customer inquiries and/or issues
• Investigates and follow up on questions/issues to resolve concerns in an accurate and timely manner
• Attends Kick off Calls, Pre-Production Calls, and regular meetings with customers as needed
• Utilizes ERP software and systems effectively and Participate in the BevSource EOS/Traction Process
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

• Associates degree in business, technical discipline, or 2 years of relevant work history
• 2-5 years minimum of applicable experience is preferred
• Familiarity with licensing processes and regulatory reporting requirements is preferred
• Customer service driven with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• High level of integrity and commitment to upholding ethical standards
