Crescent Hotels and Resorts Hotel Manager in Orlando, Florida Description The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Orlando at SeaWorld is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager. With over 1,000 rooms, 100,000 square feet of event space, multiple dining outlets, extensive meeting and event spaces and world-class recreational amenities, this resort is a destination for travelers from around the world! Responsibilities: Responsible for the overall quality and profitability of the resort, including guest service, product quality, risk management, and overall cleanliness and maintenance of the resort property. Directly responsible for overseeing all departments and resort operation. Active participation in the Central Florida Hotel/Lodging Association. Represent the General Manager in his or her absence. Encourage the Executive Committee to deal in depth with the resort’s challenges and opportunities. Effectively lead the Executive Committee utilizing effective communication, timely coordination, problem solving and follow-up. Maintain a high level of loyalty to the resort and the company. Regularly communicate, counsel, and assist in problem solving with each manager. Through personal leadership and example establish a friendly, courteous, service-oriented approach to guests that is exhibited by all hotel departments. Attend forecast, yield meetings and conduct weekly meetings with each EC member. Approve all purchase orders. Attend A/R meetings. Ensure budget goals are met and/or exceeded. Ensure all paperwork needed for daily assessment of monies spent daily is correct and given in a timely fashion to Accounting. Ensure the preparation and follow up of all service measurements. Participate in Safety Committee meetings. Planning short and long-range goals. Forecasting. Total resort profit and loss analysis. Ability to identify trends and needs areas. Ability to display professionalism in handling sensitive or confidential matters. Proven record of commitment and professionalism in meeting the challenges and pressures of a 24/7/365 operation. Professional image as perceived by subordinates, peers, superiors, guests, and community. Possess business maturity and be profit-oriented. Effective management style to include problem-solving, functioning well under pressure, effective verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to stand for long periods of time.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
