Job Description

*Description* This is a check in position for Orthopedic - they sit downstairs- Two Medical Receptionists doing check in. They see about 150-300 patients per day 2 doing check out (this person will only be trained in check in) Sign into a few systems ---- NexGen- EMR and RCM, Accelicapture - where they ready doc the patient so the clinical staff in the back knows, Fresia - a part of the check in process - verify insurance Patients start at 8 am but doors open at 7:30 Checking patients in Verifying insurance, collect copayments, scanning ID and insurance card There are times where they will print out paperwork for patients. Fresia allows the patient to do paperwork online so they will just print it out and hand it to them Call center handles incoming phone calls but there may be times where providers will ask the front desk to reschedule patients Certain tasks that will be added on as they get trained Schedule follow up appointments *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
