This position involves providing comprehensive radiation oncology services. Collaboration with the oncology team is essential for patient care. The selected candidate will perform clinical care tasks, including consultations, outpatient clinic work, and inpatient rounding. Applicants should have good judgment, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. The candidate must be flexible and able to prioritize multiple tasks. Strong communication, organizational, and team-building skills are required. Professionalism with high-quality, evidence-based, and compassionate care is expected. The position requires a wide spectrum of radiation oncology skills, including 3DCRT, IMRT, VMAT, SAbR, SRS, 4DCT, and DIBH. Proficiency with software interfaces such as Aria, Mosaiq, Eclipse, MIM, Pinnacle, EPIC, and Cerner is necessary. The candidate must meet criteria for professional membership and privileges. Applicants should possess physical agility and adequate reaction time to respond to patient care needs. Excellent hearing, visual acuity, and fine motor skills are required for this role. The position involves using proper body mechanics to assist patients. Effective communication through reading, writing, and speaking in person or over the phone is essential.
