Responsibilities: Partner with enterprise architects and technology teams to build and validate technology Proof of Concepts for enterprise production selection and implementation of all Value propositions and Core capabilities. Provide thought leadership to establish best engineering practices, methods, standards, SDLC, design decisions, processes, and tools. Lead development of software features that align with and enhance the company's core value proposition. Work with product management and stakeholders to identify needs and translate them into valuable software features. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to communicate value propositions. Spearhead open digital architecture development, emphasizing API-first design, using ATDD, domain-driven design, and resiliency principles. Build resilient, scalable architecture, driving innovation, cost efficiency, and quality. Use quantitative analysis to impact business decisions and provide technology guidance. Create system design documentation, procedures, and executive briefings; research and evaluate new technologies. Serve as Senior Solutions Architect/Technical leader for large teams, focusing on CX excellence. Establish an engineering culture with high standards for quality, ownership, and action bias. Partner with senior management to determine solutions, drive alignment, and implement decisions. Maintain the health and sustainability of software projects through an engineering roadmap. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or four+ years of work experience. Six+ years of relevant experience in software development or military/training. Experience with middle-tier technologies and jBPM orchestrations in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, reactive programming. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Experience designing/scaling applications, API frameworks, and modern tech stacks including microservices, open source, cloud, and streaming technologies. Extensive experience with Java, Spring Boot, Webservices, Hibernate, NoSQL, relational databases, AWS services, BPM technologies including JBPM 6.x/7.x, and full-stack development.
