We’re seeking an Oracle APEX developer to join a growing team to deliver cutting edge life science solutions and products. We want to bring order to chaos and develop world class software that provides far superior user experience, and we're doing this at every step of the way. We're looking for someone that can complement our development team and expand our capacity to deliver.
You will be doing full-cycle design and standards-based development within an Oracle APEX context, and have tactical knowledge of data modeling,
PL/SQL
, JavaScript, and general web development technologies.
Minimum qualifications include the following:
10+ years of application development experience
5+ years of Oracle APEX experience is required
Experience working with most of the following -
Oracle database
Data modeling
PL/SQL
HTML/CSS
Web development
JavaScript
JSON/RESTful web services
Version control (Git preferred, but not required)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with individuals across the organization
Experience working with Agile development frameworks

Responsibilities
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

US: Hiring Range: from $94,200 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
