SOC Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) (Hybrid) Join Citi's Security Operations Center (SOC) as an Incident Responder to support critical cybersecurity efforts. This role involves reacting to security events in cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments, with opportunities to mentor colleagues and influence security strategies. Responsibilities: Lead or support triage and investigations of urgent cyber incidents across diverse environments. Conduct incident response activities including digital forensics, malware analysis, and investigation of various operating systems. Create and monitor security metrics based on frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key information sources and components. Utilize forensic tools to identify sources of compromise and malicious activities. Work with global teams on large-scale incident triaging and scope definition. Document findings and present investigations outcomes. Participate in readiness exercises and train junior staff. Work shifts to provide 24/7 coverage, either Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field. Minimum 5 years in cybersecurity or information security, with at least 2 years in incident response. Experience with digital forensics, malware analysis, and forensic tools. Proficiency with operating systems (Windows, UNIX, Mac OS X) and scripting languages. Strong understanding of networking protocols and security infrastructure. Certifications such as GIAC (e.g., GCFE, GCFA, GCIH) are preferred. Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud forensics, containerization, and related certifications. Ability to stay current with cybersecurity threats and practices.
